Digital procurement with 3E-LOOK

Requirements, order proposals, orders

Some things have to happen before an order can be created: In 3E-LOOK, the order data is transferred to Materials Management with the requested delivery date, the material requirement is determined (order BOM) and checked for availability. Bar optimization ensures that offcuts are taken into account during the purchasing process. Order proposals are generated from the determined requirements and orders are created. Of course, it is also possible to enter orders manually in the warehouse by scanning the barcode.

Document exchange runs electronically

So far, so good. Strictly speaking, however, the digitalization of the supply chain begins with the electronically generated order. It is transmitted to the supplier's FTP server at the touch of a button. The digital order confirmation comes back first. The entire document exchange can take place digitally, if the supplier supports all processes.

Detect deviations more quickly with traffic light functions

Are there any deviations? If not, everything runs without further intervention. If yes, the user recognizes this immediately thanks to the graphic traffic light function. The user can intervene and even adjust the master data. This comes into play, for example, in the case of differing prices or article information.

3E-LOOK supports OpenTRANS

Data exchange is based on standards the industry has agreed on (in this case OpenTRANS). Further digital documents (delivery note and invoice) are also transmitted via OpenTRANS.
